Why We Built MediMapster
MediMapster was born out of a simple frustration: in India, when someone urgently needs blood, families spend hours calling strangers, posting on WhatsApp groups, and driving across cities — while every minute matters.
We set out to fix that. Starting with a small team, we built a free, open platform where donors register once and can be found instantly — by blood group, city, or name. No middleman. No fee. No bureaucracy.
Today MediMapster covers 500+ cities with donors from every blood group. We also provide personal health record management — so users can track their own medical history alongside being part of the donor network.
This is a youth-led initiative built on the belief that technology and compassion, combined, can save millions of lives in India.
